Frist once again proves what an assclown he is

So Fiengold says he wants to censure President Bush, amen brother. Finally somebody with the fortitude to stand up to a President clearly BREAKING THE LAW (not based on my opinion but based on what every objective legal professional expert has stated on the matter, also the position of the American Bar Association and the Presidents and Deans of various legal colleges). The entire Senate should have been on board long ago with an independent investigation and censure, and some pretty harsh words for a President breaking the law (in fairness many Senators, Republicans included, have voiced concerns - but god forbid he commit perjury about getting a blowjob - then the fury really begins eh?). I recognize that Fiengold has President aspirations in 2008 (I still hold out hope for McCain or Hagel - not looking good for either though) but so does the current Senate Majority Leader - Captain Assclown 'Fritz'. Frist has shown his leadership abilities the last few days by repeating various GOP lies about the illegal spying. Its not illegal! Well it is according to the law, and the lawyers. The President needs these tools to catch terrorists! Sure he does, hence the law allows you to get a warrant up to 72 hours after you act (no one is saying DONT try to catch terrorists, specious asshole, they are saying do it legally). These are new times and FISA is outdated we need to act fast! See the response to the last question, and now you are intentionally misleading people - again Mr.Shiavo diagnosis - so add "Fuck off" to the end of that response please. It sends the wrong signal (or as Frist said "a signal") to the world! No, actually NOT doing anything about public officials, especially the PRESIDENT, breaking the law is what sends the "wrong signal". "We are right now at an unprecedented war where they really want to take us down . . . A censure resolution ... is wrong. It sends a signal around the world. What we are "at" is a point in history where Republicans think they can, and for that matter should, support a President involved in an illegal spying program FOR NO DAMN REASON (in every instance a warrant could have been obtained - despite the Gonzalez claims otherwise). We are at a point where rendition, torture, lack of due process, illegal spying, pointless wars based on lies and fear Fear FEAR are what the GOP is selling. I sure hope the next few election cycles send a signal to Frist - (and not one he likes - though I have seen the recent American electorate make other extremely poor choices for President and Congressional leaders, I think this time may be different and I hope the Republicans have taken this "stay the course" "support the President" crap WAY too far).
