SOAPui is a desktop java app that you can point at a WSDL and generate a client and requests. From there you can also make all kinds of test cases for SOAP.

soapui is a desktop application for inspecting, invoking and testing (functional and load) of web services over HTTP.

Though after I posted this story today I ran into the fact that it does not yet support attachments ;). I have been using it for a while and just got to the attachments part. The FAQ says SOAPui will support attachments in the next rev, August 06.

The upcoming 1.6 version of soapui will add support for attachments.. a beta will be out in mid-may..
