Dell laptops with AMD chips

The chip wars get more and more interesting every day, the latest news is that Dell will start using AMD chips in laptops. This is news because Dell has pretty much been an "Intel Inside" company (apart from some servers) for its entire existence. Apparently there has been a Dell/Intel rift (after Intel cut prices to all manufacturers, and Dell would not push certain new Intel initiatives).

all i use is AMD, and the only time is use intel is on my Dell laptop. I like this - hell I may buy a new dell just to get one with an AMD.

I know - I know... "why not just get the intel macs?" hell, i might.

Yeah thats the ironic part, Dell used to be the Intel only company (except for some servers, admitted) and now its, of all companies, Apple.
