Hypoallergenic Genetically Engineered Cats

So, by 2003 for $750-$1k you'll be able to buy
a genetically modified cat that won't make anyone
sneeze. Kinda freaky. I wonder with the recent
court decisions on GM corn crops and subsequent
breeding, if you will have to buy the cats
pre-neutered. Otherwise, someone could just buy
two and start breeding them... "Don't Copy that
Kitty."

Better yet, could someone reverse engineer their own hypoallergenic cat and make it "open source", allowing it to sleep with whatever cat it wants as long as that cat allows to share the litter openly...ohh the possibilities.
