I'm missing at at least some links to newer Xerox Parc 3D GUI developments, which didn't make it yet to the mainstream OS'.
All their 3D interface enhancements which had its high point at VR highs (around 95). DirectX 3D and OpenGL tried to put some elements into the mainstream, but is only used for gaming so far.

inxight sells now parts of these old research items.
Another major point missing in the show is the new HTML browser based GUI. This is the future.
