Verisign has taken down SiteFinder. Perhaps the least well received "product" since New Coke is finally gone. Through this whole thing, though, I was stunned at the contract terms ICANN gave NetSol/VS for the .net and .com registries. Unlike some of the vocal critics, I think ICANN is not a bad deal, but if they have no teeth to curtail crap like this, what is the point?

after i get over my mumbling about how fricking much i hate netsol/verisign i then think about it and agree with you.

how did they get these deals in the first place? if they have this ability then something is wrong with the picture of governance.
