Dude, getting damn close. I was thinking more along the lines of a hardwired device bypassing the break in the neck and nerves. Unfortunately, for a stroke victim the problem is at the control center. What would be really cool is to see an implant that would be able to translate conscious thought and then move the arm. Now that is trekkie!
