I noted earler an InformIT article that basically declared "GAME ON!" in the Browser wars again. Mozilla, Firefox and Safari just CRUSH MSIE in standards compliance, stability, security AND featureset.
Well, it looks like Microsoft is finally starting to clue up. The IE development team is being reassembled and and they are taking wishlists from users.
Its really about damned time. Frankly, though, I don't understand how they could have seriously STOPPED development on MSIE and not had everyone come down on their heads in the first place. If you can't look at their monopolistic war with Netscape and realize that the consumer has been harmed by the lack of competition in the browser space, you need look no farther than that. Maybe they will FINALLY fix all their CSS bugs. I'd even hold out hope than CSS3 support starts rolling in there.
