Linux as iTunes server

This is cool. Linux Gazette has a short description on how to get a Linux box set up as an iTunes stream-on-demand server using daapd and the Apple Rendezvous multicast service.
Man, if you could get this rolled into the Juk player software in KDE 3.2 you would have a an MP3 player almost on a par with iTunes itself.
Also of interest on the daap front is jTunes and iTunes clone in Java built on top of the javazoom MP3 player and iLeech daap client for Java.
