Screaming Penguin

I'm in the middle of listening to a phone-in press conference by the Union of Concerned Scientists, in which the group has announced that more than four thousand of scientists have now signed their February statement on scientific integrity--including 48 Nobel Laureates. The group also just released a new report (available here) showing that the Bush administration has blithely continued to do what it was originally accused of: Egregiously politicizing science.
