Will Google become the New Java "Powerhouse"?

All kinds of chatter about Google's hiring of Bosworth away from BEA. This after they poached Bloch from Sun. Talent is talent and all, but what does it mean for the Java community when some of the high-end architects start moving to a company that isn't about the advancement of Java as a technology, but more of an implementation deal? Now, I'm not saying these guys are the only people out there that can do this stuff, but it is an interesting trend. I really have to wonder if we are going to start seeing more "Java Stuff" coming out of Google, following these hires and their annoucement that they are going to start shipping source.
