Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

This is pretty cool. I guess I didn't realize just how close the eMate and the iBook were in timeframe. I still think Apple made a mistake dumping the Newton platform. Really, the eMate as the "Student Subnotebook" I still think is ahead of its time and something that is missing from the current product space. The indestructability and affortability of the original iBook was the selling point, and the eMate had all the same for 60% of the cost.
