News.com.com.com.com has an article on Minimo, the Mozilla based browser for small devices. Seems they are going to be putting out a Windows CE version shortly. *grumble* That is good news and all that, but I am still irritated that they haven't released a QT/QPE version. The GTK+ library for PDAs is great and all, but nobody... I don't know... USES IT. All the Linux PDAs out there, and it would seem the next batch of Motorola phones use Qtopia or OPIE. The GTK stuff is just exclusively the domain of the ubers who reflash their Journada or Axim.

Actually I have studied herpetology and from time to time I have had a gecko in my pocket on field collecting trips. Texas Banded Gecko, Mediterranean Gecko, just commenting based on the headline of course ;).

Funny, but very "unrepublican" of you since you used the term "guys". (And I might note that geckos are very small, but the size of the gecko doesnt matter, right.)

You keep telling yourself that. Actually, when I was in college we had geckos in the dorms. They were a godsend. When I first moved into Cloudman, there was a HORRIBLE roach problem. We went to the pet store and got 3 geckos and let them run free, and within a week, our roach problem was eliminated. Only one of them, though, ended up being friendly enough to let you play with him. They other two were downright mean.

I bet those were "Tokay" geckos? Thats usually what you can get in a pet shop and those are rather large. They are pretty cool, and great at catching insects, but they can also "bark" at that can get annoying. At any rate I am not sure the dorm is the most advisable place to let them run free, but eh, they were in a pet store and thats about as bad as it gets. [And heimann, yes, you are a republican, deal with it.]

Oh, and as if it needs elaboration, A "repub" wouldnt say "guys" because that man on man action is anti "sanctity" of marriage and "evil" and so on. All that insecure homophobic bullshit.

Yeah, well. I actually don't even know what kind of gecko they were, but they just came from Petsmart :P. Housing was not to happy with the idea of them loose in the building, but given the choice between the geckos and roaches, I choose the geckos.
