Untar this to /. You need xscreensaver 4.22, jdk1.5 and there is a KDE .desktop file in there if you have KDE 3.4.1 installed.

On one machine I had some weird issues with the KDE Control Center not launching the setup window the first time. If you get that, try running "kxsconfig totspscreensaver" from a command line.
