I missed this post in the mix today, sadly I actually will miss Win98. No not because of all of its great virtues and ease of technical support, etc, but just because of nostalgia in general for the bygone days. Ah I recall the days when I was a lowly MCSE supporting Microsoft stuff and ole' 98 came out, that was around the year 2000 I think ;). I had a way early beta I was running in the NOS (which was pathetically called the "server room" back then) and I actually recall liking the thing at first, I mean do not forget it was to replace 95, not compete with any actual decent OS. Sure it was Win98 man, but we were desperate at the time.

RE: Win 9X: Rot in Hell.
I admit, I got my short-lived MSCE on the Win95 NT3.5.1 track. I had an MSCD when you still had to pass the FoxPro exam.
I still can't say I will miss these products... at all.
