Apple releases Mac OS X v10.3.8

Looks like Apple is about done with OS X 10.3 in general. 10.3.8 has a few fixes and improvements, but until 10.4 comes out (which I believe is pretty soon) we will not see a big change. Check out the article HERE.

RE: Apple releases Mac OS X v10.3.8

nice work sir, very cool.

actually even though its not a "big change" OS X could really use " improved file sharing and directory services for mixed Mac and PC networks".

i dont know the details of the update but being able to link and map an smb drive (and keep it throughout logins and power cycles and so on - without writing your own startup script to do it) would be a huge plus.
