Just in case we go to war with China
Maybe it is just me, but this makes no sense. We are getting ourselves prepared to go to war with China though we have no plans and no reason to go to war with China. I would think better spend time and money on relations with China so we never do go to war. Seems backwards.

Maybe China sucks ass, when it comes to treating their own people... you know communism. Let their Government do what they want to their people, we let ours do what they want, and no other country gets involved.
Although it would be "wrong" and a bit warped, I dont care if they kill all of their people, just like I dont care that Saddam killed many people. Its indirect population control.
We need to stay out of foreign affairs (as un-democratic as it may be)
As far as any Chinese threat... well, they won already, no war is needed. I can't go anywhere without buying crap, and I mean TOTAL CRAP!... made in China.
Also, we are positioning ourselves nicely with India, militarily and socially. India of course is the largest Democracy over there, and they too feel a need to lookout for China in some way. Going forward we will be developing weapons with India, so maybe we can let the Indians waste their money on weapons to fight China.

No! A lot of people need Wal-Mart'Made in China goods because the qualities are good enough or sometime better in cost-comparation for the lowest prices. In fact,they help people with low-income to save a lot of money and increase their buying power, that is the sole reason why they exist and are so sucessfull. If you don't want to buy them, just go somewhere else so you can pay higher prices as much as you want, it is your choice. This is USA,a free country with a free market system, it is not a communist country, stupid !

I HATE WALMART, IT SUCKS. I NEVER SHOP THERE. If it was a communist country we wouldnt have such a crappy store.

And this "hallmark of capitalism" does it by outsourcing manufacturing to a centrally managed economy and offloading 65% of its employees to state managed health care (Medicaid) in the US. The irony is so delicious it makes me queezy.

Unfortunately health care is not a God given right. Most of the employees are 5.15/hr people. Companies like this underwrite their own health care. So think of all the babies, they would pay for. Also, think of that "class" employee. Many smoke and drink to excess and ruin their health. Paying for emphysema, cirrhosis, and COPD has never been a blue light special. That has always belonged, unfortunately, to the taxpayers.

K, I Agree that Americans (& others) can't go around screwing w/ other countries' affairs, but you gotta draw a damn line.

Nice idealism. The kind I might expect from a 17 year old living in his/her parent's basement. Maybe The next time Adolph Hitler Deux comes around, you can be the one to tell the US not to stop the slaughter of an entire populace.
