What is better than binary? DNA.

I remember talking to a friend once about how designing a computer around a DNA-like language would be far superior than binary (infact, he sent me this link). Ofcourse I was talking out of my ass at the time, and would have no idea how to do what I was talking about. So imagine my surprise when I got this link talking about the potential of DNA in supercomputing.A team led by Chemistry professor Michael C. Pirrung of Duke University developed a way to print DNA strands on a glass chip, and somehow interface it with a computer. I have no idea how this works, but it certainly sounds cool.
