Eyes Wide Shut.....I Think I Need a Cold Shower

Stanley Kubrick, the genius behind such movies as 2001: A Space Oddesy, and the lunatic behind such films as A Clockwork Orange. I feel he is the one director that died before he got what he deserved as such an incredible, and sometimes completely inappropriate, artist. So you could imagine that I would jump at the chance to catch a screening of this movie, if only to classify his final work. The movie had an intriguing, but more importantly moralistic, plot, as so many of Kubrick's movies sneakily do. The film describes a couple who's relationship, after being shaken up by ones admission of thoughts of infidelity, is even further stressed by the others erotic attempts at revenge. In true Kubrick fashion, it goes much farther than having a lunch-time quicky, and Hartford (Cruise) ends up in a dangerous, and pornographic (not that I mind) situation.Whether you go see it because you want to see Nicole Kidman naked, or you think Tom Cruise is cute, or you are a true Kubrick fan, like me, I would reccomend this to you. You will not be dissapointed in any case. Who knows, you might even find out what real filmmaking is.
