Found this over at /. It's pretty durned cool what is making it into production these days. Atrox's little low-emission deisel that he like to go on about gets one of the nods.
In pure tech, I can't decide if I like the brake-by-wire or the radar-enchanced cruise-control the best. It's all good stuff, though.

Sweet article. Like the cars, also like the favicon on the spectrum site. Hmmm, have I seen that somwhere before???

Kidding aside I especially like the Honda FCX, the Civic GX and the Fiat smokeless diesel. The Honda FCX looks like crap, like one of the first CVCCs or something (thats how they used to spell Civic) but its a start into fuel cells and I like that. The GX is sweet, regular civic, not a bad price, and your own home fueling station. The only problem is the natural gas company is prone to rape its customers and even though its totally different than petrol (natural gas that is, more abundant domestically, cleaner, etc) is still that fossil fuel game and thats a "dead end" as it were.
