Tis a sad day indeed. I recall as a very young lad getting up early, wiggling the antenna like my father had done many times previous, and trying to tune in the Oklahoma City TV station. Then, while eating my Tony Tiger, I would laugh at Captain Kangaroo and his exploits. Mr. Green Jeans, Bunny Rabbit, the Moose, Grandfather Clock, the entire cast was there to amuse and delight. Of course the entire show was merely a build up to the ping-pong barrage on the good ol Captain. Now that, my friends, is comedy.

Yeah I recall watching the Capn too. Condolences to the capns family, and thanks to he and the entire cast, it was a great show back in the day.
