Wired News has posted a story about Hand Technologies, A new pyramid scheme, annoy your friends and neighbors, Mary Kay Ripoff, Dell based computer selling program. I cant stand door to door salesmen and even worse is having to be polite to your friends at work when they start the whole "Id like to let you in on this great new business opportunity I have found..." crap. Give the thing a month and Tupperware will be bidding for the company on ebay. (Actually that wouldnt be such a bad thing since we would have translucent, waterproof cases.) Sure the whole peddling computers to friends and family is a great marketing ploy and I am sure Mr. Hand will make good money, but I hate him for converting normal humans into boring, money-hungry marketing machines.Wired StoryWired Story
