This is the book to get for beginners to intermediate or even for advanced users who are too lazy to download the two CDs worth of cool software. This book got us up and running Linux with KDE desktop and StarOffice in like two hours. Besides weighing in at over 7 pounds and having over 1000 pages, which is a prerequisite for any good computer book, there is actually some pretty useful information.
