Sony Releases RoboDog 2

After the immense success of Sony's Robotic Dog, which was released in limited quantity in the US and Japan, Sony has committed to a second version with advanced features due out April 2000. Struggling to make the robotic dog more lifelike, Sony has added several new features. Although the dog still does not consume food or water, by condensing moisture from the air and mixing with powder from a replaceable cartridge, the robotic dog can now simulate actual urination. With hard work and dedication the robot can be potty trained.
The programming has been enhanced to provide more lifelike behaviour. When two new sony dogs come into contact they immediately sniff each others butt and then hump like bunnies. The dogs can also be configured to hump their owners legs, although this greatly reduces the dogs battery life.
