Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

According to a press release from Alcatel, their new product, the Speed Touch 350i, is a full rate Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) modem, which supports data rates of up to 8 Mb/s downstream and 1 Mb/s upstream over standard ISDN lines. It is not clear if this new technology will affect the distance limitations of ADSL.
