Red Hat Releases 7.1!

For those of us who just can't wait to take advantage of the latest features available with newer kernel versions and libraries, the last few months of the Red Hat world have been rather difficult. The 7.0 release of Red Hat could have been better--Just ask Linus (who was quoted as calling the distribution "broken" and "unusable as a development platform" among other things.)
I personally have found the Fisher and Wolverine betas to be fair, but lacking complete hardware support (specifically Xircom and ibm "realport" Ethernet adapters which just happen to be extremely common in many laptops including my own :( .)
We all know that the first major release of RedHat (5.0, 6.0, 7.0) generally sucks, and is usually fixed by subsequent point releases. Hopefully 7.1 will be no exception. Stay tuned for post-install praise or lamentation...   RedHat 7.1 Main Info Page
