The Onion has come a long way. I also just recently noticed that now CNN has Onion links sprinkled in a few places (labeled as Satire), just strange. In the old days the Onion was pretty vulgar - and yes hilarious - not sure what is different, who owns who, etc, but does the network that hosts Glen Beck and Nancy Grace really want to pimp the Onion? Sort of asking for it.
Agreed on the Onion. I find it similar, however, to a lot of movies, sites, any type of platform that started off innocently and was "no hold barred." I fear it might become commercial. Let's not forget that satire started the Onion. Now they've got personal ads, etc etc. As long as the content remains funny I'd keep visiting.
