Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

I have tried to lay off the "X released" posts in the last year or so (I said *tried*, some stuff is just still cool), but everyone will surely want to know about a new rev of Emacs, lame post or not.

As Joe Grossberg reports, Emacs 22 is out.

We are all aware of how superior emacs is to any other text editor, including that silly modal thing, what's it called again? Oh, and yeah I am too dumb to use emacs to do other fancy stuff, like the build in Java support, read my email, or lisp programming, its a *text editor*. (While I am on such a roll, also, spaces, jackass.)
