New trial in the teacher porn case

Thank goodness Julie Amero gets a new trial. Now if we could just address the fact that she got charged and convicted in the first place, amazingly stupid. And the law actually states "injury or risk of injury to, or impairing morals of, children"? Hopefully that snippet is out of context and the law has a lot more solid ground than that. Risk of injury to morals? I could go on and on on that one (what is and isn't a moral, and what really "impairs" them in children, teaching a child religion, exposing a child to violence, hypocrisy, etc) but suffice to say that is a ridiculous thing to try to legislate on any level. (And NO I am not saying it should be legal to show children porn, but rather that the law should be specific. You cannot expose minors to sexually explicit material [which means X].)

Lying (how's that for moral

Lying (how's that for moral disambiguation?) a nation (wow, we're getting bigger) to war. How's that for moral insult? Not to mention the arthritis your money pockets are going to have when you senescence and a few thousand lives that could have been disemboweled on death row (the good o' Texas way).
