How many servers does that run? I wonder what percentage of google's power usage does that cover.

This, and in combination with the electric car initiative... it's good news that one of the world's largest companies is taking on this problem. Hopefully other companies follow suit.

Right on. Good to see at least some level of initiative from a large company. Love em or hate em, they are at least trying some new stuff.

Well, I don't think there is

Well, I don't think there is actually a server farm at the Googleplex... Realistically, solar server farms are right out, though. Google has been doing a lot to improve their server farms, including their own high-efficiency power supply design, and just placing them NEAR nuclear power plants to reduced transit costs.
