The Tesla Roadster, a fully electric car that gets over 200 miles per charge and can go 0-60mph in under 4 seconds, is released this year. It all sounds pretty great until you see the price tag. They are charging $98,000 (plus tax) for you to get the benefits of staying 100% electric and not having to fill up each week. I guess you are also paying for convenience, though I would have liked to see something about half the price and with 4 seats. Let's hope over time someone comes out with something for everyone.
