Win a Wii in Jersey

Give a try at the Crane Game at Point Pleasant Boardwalk at the Jersey Shore to get a Wii. My guess is at $2 a try, the machine knows to wait for 150 plays before the claw will hold on to one.
My understanding of any of these crane games is they are set up that every X time the claw will grip a bit harder to make it possible to win. If you have the patience to watch, you can ultimitly figure out. Just like counting cards, though no cards. CNET Photos

Where to buy a Wii

So if I don't want to play the odds on the boardwalk, where is the best place to actually BUY a Wii?

Do I have to play the eBay game? Or are there shipments that come in to legit retailers from time to time or what. I haven't been keeping up obviously, so I ask you, what's the deal?

Ebay is the only option

Ebay is the only option these days ... should have bought Nintendo stock 6 months ago.

Yeah I see em on eBay, but

Yeah I see em on eBay, but they are 300-400 dollars, I was hoping someone might have insight as to shipments at local stores.

Looks like Wal-Mart has some combo thing you can order online, but at $500 plus I don't understand it:

For $300 to $400 they

For $300 to $400 they usually have an extra controller and/or a few games. I think the base is around $199 and controller/games $50 to $100. So you are paying a minor premium if you can find one for $300 or low $300's which I think you can.

Wiiiiiii

Thanks for the advice. I picked one up for $350, with an extra game and controller. Now I guess I have to start buying wireless net cards, nunchucks, and so on, to literally keep up with the Jones's.

Wii Friends

Anyone want to be Wii friends.... Though I guess there is no point since there still is no network play for any current games.

I am game, for whatever

I am game, for whatever online stuff they have. Though my wife tells me I can't open this thing till Christmas, yeah, like that is gonna stick.
