Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

I have tried to stay out of the politics fray for a while, but this one is too much to stay mum about. George W. Bush calls the martial law in Pakistan "undemocratic," and the whole situation Condoleeza Rice deems "highly regrettable"?

Undemocratic? Oh yeah you numbnuts? Now you notice that Pakistan is undemocratic? You mean "President General" didn't give it away? You mean the whole AQ Khan, ISI, jailing judges, suspending parliament, and on and on and on didn't clue you in?

And "highly regrettable," which part? Where do we start?

Oh, I forgot, Pakistan is the great ally in the "War on Terror," you know, the one the states has poured billions into for all their great help in the "struggle."

It never was about democracy, in Pakistan or anywhere else, I am just amazed at the balls on Bush to still be playing the Orwellian card in every situation that he completely fucks up.
