A bit pricey for me. I do like the idea of breaking out the optical drive to save space since I rarely use mine, though I do on occasion I need an Ethernet hookup. I assume you could get some sort of USB job that would do the trick.
Overall pretty cool, though it is just a really small laptop. Nothing crazy. Chuck, you got my hopes up with your comment about Apple announcing a "flying car that gets 1000mpg, plays MP3s with WiFi access to iTunes, doubles as a computer for third world children, and automatically plants trees while not in use."

I was very wrong about the SSD option, $3k, not $2.5k, ouch.
