Ken Schwaber co-developer of the Scrum project management methodology has an EXCELLENT Google Tech Talk out there about . . . wait for it . . . Scrum. This thing is old as heck, so you may have seen it, but I just stumbled on it.
It's long, but not entirely without wit, and very well presented. The concepts he hits on though, why Scrum works, why it matters, what some of the resistances are, and especially the curve for the "core infrastructure" at many organizations vs fancy new features we can hammer out on the side RESOUNDS IN PERFECT RESONANCE with my personal experience at several companies (especially at the one I am currently employed for, it's brutal, er I mean totally brilliant!).
Really, this thing takes a commitment to watch, but it sure is worth it - dooo it!
