TotSP gets openID

So now the penguin supports openID, in case you hadn't noticed (under the regular login is an openID option). If you use it, let me know how it flies. I have been using it with claimID as my provider, and it works well. Somebody try an aol ID or such and report back, s'il vous plait. I was going to roll a Drupal plugin for openID, but since it already exists (http://drupal.org/project/openid), and works, it's all good.

Bugs in the openID module

"Seems to be working" . . . famous last words. If you have an EXISTING penguin account, just login as usual, then hit the MyAccount link and associate your openID. Don't try to first enter your openId and create an account from there, that just creates a new account, and screws up trying to send the verification email. If you do NOT have an existing account. Create a regular account first, then go into MyAccount and associate your openID. I will try to look more into the drupal plugin and the whole process when I get a chance, but for now, just use your existing account to associate the first time, then login with openID thereafter (don't try to fill out the create account form).
