Noticed this on Apple's Store. From $500 to $700 off the original price for what is still great machine. You have to get this through the educational site and Clearance items.

Nice notice there, I might actually do that - have been wanting a MacBook with a real video card for a while, for a decent price, the older pro might fit the bill (and I always buy the refurb or last gen ones anyway, great discounts, same warranty as new, and from Apple).
