It would appear that we have reached the limits of what it is possible to achieve with computer technology, although one should be careful with such statements, as they tend to sound pretty silly in 5 years.

I guess my geek sense is just attuned to 1701D. I noticed it. Still, it wasn't a passing thing: they lingered on it in the shot. Moreover, I noticed that BSG tends to not number doors. I remember thinking this was just smart: when you number doors you end up with continuity issues to deal with. If you just label a door with a function name, you put off dealing with continuity until later :P
