Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

Basically, these are portions that were moved around in the book several times, and finally, when we had too many pages, they were ultimately cut.

In the case of the History section, Cooper and I both contributed to this, and really liked it - but the editors and reviewers felt it was a bit extraneous.

The Profiling and Debugging chapter changed form many times. At one time it was a part of chapter 7, then it was a part of chapter 8, finally it just became known as chapter "7.5" and got lost in the shuffle. We never got around to completing a few sections of it, but it is still full of a lot of good information (covers profiling, Firebug, debugging with JPDA).

At some point I will try to polish these a bit more and submit them to Manning, maybe from there they can make them available as bonuses online - if deemed worthy.
